History of M. A. Ulloa Elementary School Maria A. Ulloa Elementary School, then Dededo Elementary School, was built in 1965. In 1968, the school was renamed to honor a prominent local educator, Maria Arceo Ulloa. The school remains one of the more highly populated elementary schools, serving students mostly from the village of Dededo. In May of 2015, MAUES became fully accredited for Grades K – 5 by the Accrediting Commission of Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
School Spirit The school colors of MAUES are green and gold. Our mascot is the Carabao. School spirit means to carry on our mission, our dreams, and goals to the highest possible level.
